How it works
Choose add or extract, enter amount and rate. No per-country rate pages — you supply the percent.
Formula
Gross = net × (1+r); net = gross / (1+r); tax = gross − net. Notes:
- r is a decimal from the percent you enter.
- Multi-rate invoices and exemptions are not modeled.
- Not a filing or compliance tool.
Example
Example: net 100, 20% → gross 120, tax 20.
When to use it
- Homework VAT add/extract.
- Quick check before bookkeeping.
- Pair with discount/tip pages for receipt math.
