[try to solve] Production /google….html was being 307-redirected by Cloudflare Workers Assets default html_handling to /google… (extension stripped). Locally under wrangler dev, an explicit Worker route plus html_handling: "none" returned 200 for the exact .html path. After several deploys, production still 307ed (Assets config changes did not appear to apply on that domain’s static hit path as expected). Homepage meta verification remained available as a fallback.
